Players ranked Platinum or higher can only party with friends who are one tier higher or lower than them. When entering as a party, the players will be matched based on the highest ranked party member. Matchmaking automatically fills any remaining slots in the squad with random players of similar rank. Players may enter Ranked Leagues as solo or as a premade party of two or three. If the player exceeds this three times during a season, the player loses all forgiveness for the remainder of that season and all further unexpected quits will incur penalties.
